The Old Post Office at Loch Tay
Perth and Kinross
View on Google MapsThis Victorian post office has been converted into a substantial family home on the north shore of Loch Tay, near Fearnan village. The building retains its character while offering modern comforts across two floors: five bedrooms (three doubles, one kingsize, one twin) and three bathrooms, with space for ten people. Ground floor bedrooms have ensuite facilities, and one opens directly to the patio where the hot tub sits surrounded by enclosed garden space. Upstairs, a further double and twin share a family bathroom, while the living and dining area runs the width of the house with views across the loch.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, two fridge-freezers and a coffee machine. A utility room on the ground floor has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The property has private parking for four cars and sits back from the road in its own grounds, with a firepit and barbecue in the garden. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
Fearnan is a quiet village; Kenmore and Aberfeldy lie within reach for supplies and eating out. The loch itself invites walking and water-based activities. No smoking inside the property.
