About Acer Guest House
Acer Guest House suits travellers who want a straightforward base rather than a fuss-heavy hotel stay - golfers heading to nearby courses, couples visiting Perth and Kinross, or anyone happy to trade extras for good value and an easy night's sleep. As adults-only accommodation, it also appeals to guests wanting a quieter stay without families around.
Rooms are bright and simply furnished, each with an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in the room. Free WiFi runs throughout, and reception operates around the clock, so late arrivals aren't a problem. It's a no-frills setup, but the essentials are well covered, and free on-site parking makes it practical for anyone arriving by car.
Pubs, bars and restaurants sit within easy reach, along with entertainment options and a golf course nearby, and Elcho Castle offers a point of interest for those wanting to explore beyond the town. Perth itself is a little over a mile away by road, putting the guest house close enough to the centre without being in the thick of it.
What guests say
Wow, rude host. I very politely asked her TWO questions before booking the stay on Airbnb (asked if they had an iron and if we can we leave our suitcases there for the day after checking out) to which she answered "too many questions" without even a "hello" or "sorry" or anything, then proceeded to just prevent me from booking? Extremely rude, kind of happy to never meet her tbh.
