Rowan Cottage

Rowan Cottage is a stone-built property near Thorgill in North Yorkshire, within reach of the North York Moors. It sleeps four across two double bedrooms and comes with a bathroom and shower room. The whole cottage is yours alone, and one small dog can stay free of charge.

Downstairs, a combined living and dining room has a woodburner and Freeview TV. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. A stable door opens onto a private garden with seating and moorland views. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; there is parking for two cars on site. Smoking is not permitted.

The hamlet sits among rolling hills and ancient woodland, with walking trails leading out across the moors. A pub operates within a mile. Access is via a rough farm track—the setting is genuinely remote, which is the point.
