Blair Castle Caravan Park
Blair Atholl, Pitlochry PH18 5SR, UK
Parkland site on the Blair Castle estate, seven miles north of Pitlochry
About Blair Castle Caravan Park
Blair Castle Caravan Park spreads across wooded estate parkland surrounding Blair Castle, the turreted ancestral seat of the Dukes of Atholl, seven miles north of Pitlochry near Blair Atholl village. Pitches sit among mature trees and open grassland within sight of the castle itself, with the River Tilt marking the estate boundary. The site takes tents, tourers and motorhomes, with electric hookups, a shop, laundry, modern showers and a playground for families. WiFi is available, and dogs are welcome.
The setting delivers real dividends for walkers: you have direct access to Blair Castle's grounds and gardens, plus onward routes into Glen Tilt, one of Highland Perthshire's classic long glens. Blair Atholl station sits close by on the main line to Pitlochry. Visitors appreciate the scenery and convenience, though some note the park can feel a little tired in places and prices run slightly high for what's offered. Still, the combination of estate atmosphere, glen walking from the pitch and easy road and rail links keeps it popular with families and touring campers alike.

Brilliant site, spacious, green lots of mature trees. Facilities excellent, staff excellent. Shieling coffee bar is great and do lovely pizzas in the evening.\\nPitches spacious but some are a bit old and worn with thin layer of gravel and have water drainage which is higher than the pitch....hence the 4 stars.....would give it 5 for everything else.\\nLots of lovely walks for the doggo and a great little shop with a few essentials.....does amazing croissants and bread but only on 2 days a week....so you have to be quick!\\nThere is a beauty spa on site which is nothing to do with the park but is excellent\\nShort walk to the village where there is a small shop a hotel with a pub and the watermill cafe which is excellent.\\nAlso you get free entry to the castle grounds which is lovely for walking and there is a nice restaurant there but not doggy friendly

Very nice and maintained site. Toilet and shower block fine. Most blocks were shut due to it being the winter period, but we were given a nearby pitch to it. Really nice area. I'd recommend The roundhouse inn for a great pub. The loft restaurant for amazing food.\\n\\nLost a star due to no complimentary WiFi... £5.60 something a day!!! Outrageous!

A very well appointed and fairly large site with at least 4 shower blocks, an organic shop and cafe onsite and a games room with pool, fusball and pingpong available for a modest fee.\\n\\nAs you turn off to enter the park you may be greeted by their Highland cow or Black Ram who live in the small genced fieldto the right. The reception staff were bright and welcoming and firected us to the camping area which is west of the main campsite through a row of large trees. The camping field is quite large and wooded round the outside. All of the pitches are huge, giving plenty space from your neighbours. The toilet block is a short stroll back into the main park area. There is a shared water spigot in the middle of the park. We used this to wash things and boil for tea/coffee with zero issues.\\n\\nShowers are clean and hot water plentiful. They are the dreaded 10 second push buttons though. There are washing up bays at each block too.\\n\\nDuring the opening hours you can use the entry road to the Castle to access the park as long as the ornate iron gates are open. There is a long treelined avenue leading to the visitor centre but you can quickly turn off to the left into the campsite or right to the caravan park.
