About Haven Rockley Park Holiday Park Dorset
Haven Rockley Park Holiday Park sits along Napier Rd in Poole, with the shoreline reachable directly from the site and the Dorset countryside spreading out beyond it. It's a setting built around getting outdoors, whether that's a walk to the water or a day spent using the on-site watersports.
Accommodation ranges from caravans to glamping pods, most fitted with en-suite bathrooms and kitchens, and many looking out over pleasant views. Some guests have noted that maintenance on certain caravans can be patchy, so it's worth asking what condition your unit is in before booking. On site there's a restaurant and bar, kids' meals for families, a laundry service and 24 hour reception, alongside indoor and outdoor swimming pools and regular entertainment.
Beyond the park, there's a pub, restaurant and eatery nearby, plus a golf course and fishing spots for those who want to venture off site. With beach access on the doorstep and watersports laid on, it works well as a base for an active family break in Dorset.

What guests say
We had a very enjoyable stay at Haven overall. The caravan was comfortable, suited our needs well, and provided the privacy we were looking for. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we extended our stay from four nights to seven because there was so much to see and do in the local area. The site itself is excellent for families, with plenty of activities to keep children entertained. The staff were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The location was also ideal, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit, and we were fortunate to have lovely weather throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the standard of cleaning in the caravan was disappointing and needs significant improvement. We had to clean the fridge on arrival, found a cracked wine glass left in the cupboard, and there was only one wine glass provided, so I had to request two more. There was a brush but no dustpan, so we ended up buying our own. We also found a box left on top of one of the cupboards and tissues underneath the chest of drawers. These issues suggest that housekeeping standards need to be raised. Despite these concerns, we had a wonderful holiday and would happily return because of the great facilities, friendly staff, excellent location, and everything the surrounding area has to offer. With improved cleaning standards, the experience would have been even better.

We’ve just come back from a fantastic family holiday at Haven Rockley Park and had a brilliant time. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful harbour views and some of the best weather we could have hoped for. We stayed in a Silver caravan in Harbour View, which was clean, comfortable and had a great outlook. One of the highlights was how friendly and helpful the Haven staff were throughout our stay. Everyone we spoke to was welcoming and made us feel at home. The activities were well organised and the entertainment team did a great job. We also loved exploring the local area. The Harbour Breezer bus made it incredibly easy to visit Sandbanks, and from there we caught the chain ferry over to Studland, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the holiday. If I had a couple of suggestions for improvement, it would be that some of the paid activities felt a little pricey for their length. Paying around 12 pound for only 30 minutes on activities like Aqua Jets or the Aqua Inflatable didn't feel like the best value. We'd also have liked a few more takeaway or food options nearby. Our biggest disappointment was that the outdoor pool closed on the Monday afternoon just after we arrived and wasn't ever open. We understand these things can happen, but with the fantastic weather and having purchased play passes, it was something we'd really been looking forward to. So, it did put a slight dampener on what was otherwise an excellent holiday. Overall, though, this was a wonderful family break. Great accommodation, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and plenty to do. We'd happily return to Rockley Park and would definitely recommend it to other families. Edit - just to be clear the outdoor pool was shut due to "pool plant issues" and not a case of us turning up at closed times.

Our caravan was lovely and clean on arrival and had everything we needed. It was in Central Park which has a fairly short, flat walk to the main complex. We didn't book any activities, but we did get food from fish and chip shop and twice in the Mash and Barrell, all of the food was good, and the staff were polite and friendly. We went to the evening entertainment in the Live Lounge and thought it was a great atmosphere. The bar staff were nice and chatty and drinks are priced as you'd expect and it's hand to be able to have food from the takeaway outlets in there. The entertainment team clearly love their job and go above and beyond. Getting people to join in, interacting with kids, full of energy and fun, a credit to the park in my opinion. The outside acts we saw were all good too. Ham common and the small beach are both walkable from the park, we had great fun crabbing there! The open top bus is a good service, a day explorer ticket can be used to go to Poole, Poole Harbour, Sandbanks and Bournemouth. Well worth a trip, it's such a lovely area. Thank you Rockley Park for a great holiday.

This was our 1st time we visit rockley park in Dorset, the staff at Haven was very polite friendly and caring,it wasn't very hot, we had 1 day where we had bit of rain, but it didn't stop us going out. The grounds was absolutely beautiful, it's so easy to get to town, and swanage via bus. The area is very clean. Swimming pool was well maintain by life guards. The fish and chips shop was very clean and you got very good helpings of chips and fish was boneless and skinless. Papa Johns their pizza was amazing and very tasty.

Guests consistently praise this holiday park for its comfortable and well-equipped caravans and glamping pods, many of which boast great views. The friendly staff, enjoyable entertainment, and convenient on-site beach with water activities are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the experience.
Some reviews mention the caravan maintenance can be poor.
