The Barn is a converted Welsh long barn sleeping six across three bedrooms—a king, another king, and two singles—with one bathroom. The lower ground floor opens into a living space with a smart TV, a dining area, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine; you can cook proper meals or keep things simple. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, and one dog stays free of charge, with extras provided for them.
The property sits on 16 acres of grounds (shared with the owner and another property on-site) near Neath, with an enclosed patio, garden furniture and a BBQ for outdoor entertaining. Private parking accommodates four cars. There is a pond 200 yards away on the land. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Walks head straight from the door into Dyffryn woods, which sits around 260 metres high and offers views across Neath, the Bristol Channel and towards the Gower Peninsula on clear days. Aberavon Beach is 9 miles away; the Gower Peninsula lies 20 miles off. For those interested in activity, Bike Park Wales is roughly 40 minutes' drive, and Afan Forest Mountain Bike Trails about 25 minutes. Across the road stand Craig Y Nos Castle and its country park. The property does not accept stag, hen or other party bookings, and smoking is not permitted.
