The Cottage
Neath Port Talbot
The Cottage sits on 16 acres of countryside between Port Talbot and Neath, with walking access straight to Dyffryn woods. The woodland rises 260 metres and overlooks the Neath Valley, Bristol Channel and Gower Peninsula on clear days. A pond occupies the grounds 200 yards from the house, and the setting suits anyone wanting countryside without isolation—Neath market town is 3 miles away, Aberavon Beach 9 miles, and the Gower Peninsula 20 miles. Mountain biking trails at Afan Forest are 25 minutes' drive, or Bike Park Wales 40 minutes if you want more technical riding.
The property is a renovated ground-floor open-plan space with a kitchen, dining area, living room with smart TV, and bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, a single bedroom has a king bed. Essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. You get parking for two cars on site, a washing machine (shared with the owner), and an enclosed patio with garden furniture and barbecue. One pet stays free. The cottage is yours alone—no other guests—though you'll share the wider grounds with the owner and another property. No smoking inside.
