What visitors say
We came here about 3 weeks ago from Kent as a group of friends and we had an amazing stay and would all love to come back. We arrived and were met by a very welcoming woman who told us all about the campsite, including the amenities, the shop, and our pitch. The size of our pitch was very generous, and we didn't need all of the space we had. The pitch was in amazing condition, very flat and grass not too long. When we went it was also quite quiet and there was a lot of space around our pitch where we kicked a ball about some nights. The stand-out for me was how welcoming all the staff and other campers were. They were very talkative and me and one staff member even bonded over our hayfever! Honestly, not a bad person anywhere near this camp site. The amenities were so well kept and clean, and the games room was also amazing with free pool and table tennis. The location is very convinient for visiting other places in Cornwall, and there is a nice walk down to the town and beach of Porthtowan that takes you along scenic cliffs. Overall, I can't think of one thing I would change and would go back in a heartbeat. Run so well by the most amazing people. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Beautiful camp site, kept immaculately clean & tidy, very quiet & relaxing. Feels safe as they have barrier entry for vehicles that have checked in. They have a games room, park, small shop, laundry room, dog walk area and very clean shower blocks. Perfect location, with closest beach 1 mile away. Would 100% recommend staying here, we love it.

We booked last minute to stay here just for one night to stop between locations on 13/07/2026. But now we can’t wait to go back and stay for longer. Not one bad thing about this campsite. We were first greeted by a lovely lady on Saturday the 13th who was so welcoming and had a great energy; she provided us with a description of where our pitch was, what the facilities were and where to find them and even let us know about upcoming events in the area she recommended. The site is one of the best kept sites we have been to, the roads and pitches were perfectly even, the grass in perfect condition, and of course what’s very important the showering and bathroom facilities were immaculate! Our pitch was very generous with beautiful flowers growing right by our hedging. We turnt up at about 7pm and the sunset over the tall trees from our pitch (no.15) was beautiful while we were relaxing with the campervan doors open! I could not ask anything more from a campsite! A real star of the show on the morning was the coffee and fresh baked pastries ! We love our coffee and being able to have good quality coffee locally sourced was an absolute win! the gentleman at the shop on site (in so sorry I didn’t get his name!) took his time explaining where the coffee beans were sourced from, how him and his son have taken the time to learn about making the perfect coffee with the attention to detail of colour smell and temperature and allowing me to really be part of the process. He offered us some lovely coffee cups that we could use instead of to go cups and to be honest the whole experience really just shows how if this campsite offer a service or facility, they go the extra mile!! It very much gave of you are going to do something, do it with 110%!! They even offer electric hookup cables/pegs and mallets to borrow if you have forgotten any of the essentials! Anything you can think of they are happy to help, and it really does make the difference! This campsite not only is only 30 minutes from Falmouth, Newquay and st ives roughly so is a great spot to stop over for lots of great locations. We love to stay away with small luxuries and comforts. If that is you- it’s a no brainer!! Thank you so much again to all the staff ❤️

Stayed at Porthtowan Tourist Park for one night and wish it had been longer. The owner was incredibly welcoming and genuinely just wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible — nothing felt like too much trouble, which really stood out. The shower and toilet facilities were absolutely immaculate, easily the cleanest I’ve seen on any campsite. There’s also a games room with pool and other activities which looked great, just a shame we didn’t get time to use it. Overall, a really well-run, friendly place that clearly cares about its guests. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
