What visitors say
Really disappointed as first impressions here were great. Managed to book online for the same day which was the main reason for going as usual place I go to wasn’t answering the phone. On arrival couldn’t believe the cost of items - far more than I’ve ever paid anywhere. However we were there so thought we’d make the most of it. The one positive was lots of arts and crafts stuff for children like stickers, crayons and paint etc to keep them occupied. When I collected the items one of them had quite a large gap in the glaze where it had been sat it the kiln. The person I spoke to wasn’t too sure if anything could be done but was very polite and said to leave it there and come back in a couple of days - took my phone number too so I expected a call. No phone call so went back in and was told it’s not a chip (I knew that anyway) but was where the item had sat in the kiln. I understand this, I’ve done a lot of pottery painting over the years and know there’s always 3 little pin marks underneath, but that’s all they should be - pin marks. This looks like some of the glaze has been pulled away. The lady wasn’t very friendly and just said it is what it is. I’ve never seen a finish as bad as this and it’s really disappointing especially given the price! Also it looks like at some point the item had been dropped as has a tiny crack mark. And also black dots on the front which were not there when we left the items. Wasn’t offered a discount or anything. Also item is a gift so it’s a shame. Overall a very disappointing experience given the cost as well.

We visited after my son had previously attended a birthday party here and absolutely loved it, so I decided to bring both of my children (aged 7 and 5) one morning. The facilities are great and it’s a really lovely idea for kids, they both enjoyed the experience overall. However, the customer service was quite disappointing. The lady working there was somewhat helpful at times and friendly when my children asked for certain things, but she also came across as quite abrupt and, at points, rude. Toward the end of our visit especially, it felt like she couldn’t really be bothered with us. It was a shame because we noticed she was very warm and encouraging with other children, praising their work when they had finished, but didn’t interact the same way with mine and didn’t say anything about their art. This made the experience feel a bit uneven. With friendlier, more consistent customer service, this place could be fantastic. As it stands, it’s a nice activity for children, but the overall experience was let down slightly by the service.

I love it that they have so much choice and different types of craft including painting on pottery, wood, plaster, fabric, glass and mosaic. Something for everyone. Reasonably priced. Drinks available. 8 of us had a lovely afternoonon as part off a hen do. Staff were friendly and we felt very welcomed.

We came here for pottery painting. There was a huge range of items to paint and all the colours you need. You got a 2 hour time slot which is plenty of time to not feel rushed and have a relax and chat. The lady was really lovely and you can also buy hot drinks and snacks too. The pottery only too a week to glaze (and that was over Christmas too) so really quick turn around. They also offer glass painting, wood painting, textiles painting and loads of kids activities too.
