About easyhotel Reading
easyhotel Reading doesn't run its own restaurant or bar, so breakfast and dinner mean stepping outside, and there's no shortage of options nearby with pubs, bars and restaurants all within easy reach on and around Caversham Road. It's a practical arrangement that suits the hotel's straightforward, budget-focused approach.
Rooms are compact and functional, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Furnishings are kept simple and the emphasis is on having what you need rather than extra space, and some guests have found the walls let through more sound than they'd like. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional, and the rooms themselves are kept clean and well maintained.
The hotel is close to Reading town centre and its transport links, making it a sensible base for exploring the area. Golf, fishing and watersports are all listed nearby for anyone wanting to fill their days actively, and pets are welcome for those travelling with an animal in tow. Luggage storage is available, which is handy for early arrivals or late departures. It's a fair-value option for anyone who wants a clean, no-nonsense place to sleep in Reading without paying for facilities they won't use.

What guests say
I stay here often as a solo female. This is the best value for money on Reading. All staff have always been friendly, helpful and professional. From what I can see they all work exceptionally hard Rooms are clean. I feel safe. They have everything I need, including aircon. I often book the room without windows now because I get such a deep sleep in them. If you are a really light sleeper maybe pack earbuds because the rooms are back to back, but I've never had a problem. You are located right near the trainstation and bus stops, there's an aldi opposite and you are a short walk to the river and nice pubs/ restaurants in Caversham. I've tried most of the other budget hotels in the area and always come back to easy because I can trust them and you know what your getting - clean and not overpriced. 5 stars from me. ... (P.S: As a word of advice, if you are deciding between this and the other hotel - that shall not be named but is the cheapest cheapest hotel in reading/ Earley -I would choose this. I once booked in to the other cheaper one and ended up leaving in the middle of the night to come here because it just wasn't clean and I didn't feel comfortable there on my own).

I’ve visited easyHotel Reading several times and the experience has always been positive. The staff are consistently helpful, but Sayeed at reception truly stands out. He is always welcoming, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything is just right. His professionalism and friendly attitude make a real difference to the stay. Great service like this is why I keep coming back—highly recommended!

Always a reliably great stay, this time more so. Upon arrival there had been a problem with my payment completing via a third party, what could have been an absolute nightmare was handled confidently and professionally by Sonya on guest reception. Her calm demeanour and willingness to ensure my stay remained as comfortable as ever, surpassed all expectation. She even went ahead and sorted me out a complimentary late check out for my trouble! Excellent service, I’ll always stay here when visiting Reading.

The lady behind the desk was nice and chatty, but the room itself wasn’t great. I understand it is a budget choice but there were hairs in the bathroom, and the floor had not been hoovered. Also the walls are very thin I could hear other people’s alarms and walking around at all hours. It is about 10/15 mins walk to the station and the city centre.
