About Relaxinnz Great Expectations
London Street puts Relaxinnz Great Expectations within easy reach of Reading's pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues, making it a practical base for exploring the town on foot before heading back for the evening. Free on-site parking also makes it a sensible stop for anyone driving in or passing through Berkshire.
The hotel itself has 29 rooms, air conditioned and fitted with free WiFi, and there's a lift for those who'd rather skip the stairs. Facilities extend beyond the bedrooms to a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast each morning, an indoor swimming pool and a gym, plus meeting rooms for anyone combining the stay with work. A garden offers a quieter spot to sit outside, and the hotel also functions as a wedding venue.
Porter service and luggage storage take care of the practical side of arriving and leaving, while airport parking or transfers are available for those continuing their journey by air. With eating and drinking options both on site and within walking distance nearby, guests have a genuine choice of where to spend the evening.
Reviewers consistently praise this hotel for its good value for money, delicious food, and friendly, helpful staff.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be poorly maintained and noisy.
