Gym is small, equipment is decent and staff are friendly. Good starter / beginner gym, especially if you live locally, but I'd recommend a paid membership at a bigger gym if you can afford it. I use this gym a lot on a free membership and it's really helped me to get fit and improve my health.

I made the booking in person at your venue and paid with my bank card in person. This was not an online booking. At the time of payment, I was charged the full price even though I am entitled to a 50% discount. I was told that the discount was not available on my membership card at that moment. I had a long conversation with the member of staff, explaining that I should have received the discount, but the issue was not resolved. Within approximately five minutes of making the booking and completing the payment, I requested to cancel it. During those same few minutes, my friend called to tell me that he could no longer attend, so I immediately returned to the reception and asked to cancel the booking. I was initially told that refunds were not possible unless there were exceptional circumstances, such as illness. However, about an hour later, I received a phone call from a member of staff informing me that she had spoken to the manager, who had agreed to authorise a full refund. I was assured that the refund would be processed within three to five working days. It has now been nine days, and no refund has been received. When I contacted your team again to follow up, I was told that I would have to wait another ten days. Despite this, I have still not received my refund, nor have I received any update or further communication. I am very disappointed with the way this matter has been handled. I cancelled the booking almost immediately after making it, and the refund was approved by your manager. I therefore expect the refund to be processed without any further unnecessary delays.
