What guests say
Stayed for 1 night. Friendly welcome. Room was very comfortable, cleaned to a high standard. The coffee machine didn’t reach the plug socket so I needed to move, only a small detail but needs amending. Enjoyed our stay wish it was longer. The Manager was great, very knowledgeable of the area, had fantastic customer service, nice to see a true professional . Thanks for a great stay

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Royal Wells. What stood out most was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. In particular, the woman on reception went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, from helping me with a late-evening request for camomile tea to offering to prepare a takeaway bacon sandwich when I didn't have time for a full breakfast before leaving. The hotel itself has a great atmosphere. It's a beautiful building, and arriving at dusk to see it lit up for the evening made a wonderful first impression. The location is excellent too – close enough to the centre of Tunbridge Wells to be convenient, but tucked away in a quieter and more attractive part of town, so it feels relaxed and removed from the bustle. Breakfast was excellent, and overall the combination of the characterful building, great location and genuinely attentive staff meant the hotel exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Royal Wells Hotel. We booked two rooms – a family suite and a twin room – and both were clean and well maintained. The family suite, in particular, stood out with a modern, stylish bathroom. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful at night, which made for a restful stay. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were a little on the firm side for our preference. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection, though the bakery items could be a bit fresher or of slightly better quality. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would consider returning. A comfortable, quiet hotel in a great location.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the interior - everywhere! Big room and good facilities. We had both breakfast and dinner in the gourgous diningroom/restaurant. Really nice food. We were so impressed with the staff, they were very helpful, efficient and nice. We feel we should have paid more for such a great stay, far too cheap for this excellent hotel.
