The staff were exceptional, such lovely people who will go above and beyond for you to accomodate your needs and special requests. The breakfast was incredible. The rooms themselves have very comfy beds, have everything you could possibly need and very quiet. Had one of the best sleeps I have had in ages. It's location near the park, station and shopping area is perfect. It's a lovely charming hotel that would love to come back to. The decor is a little tired looking, but that's part of the charm.

I absolutely love staying here. My room is so quaint and it's so quiet yet a short walk down the lane and you haven't 'Bill's' restaurant and all the shops. I have a lovely view from my bedroom that looks across the hilltop houses. Breakfast is included in the price AND...DRUM ROLL...PARKING IS FREE AND SPACES ARE AVAILABLE! 🤸

All the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in our trips. The building is quite old and should display it's history from its origins to the present day.We truly wish them the best for the future. Many thanks from two happy guests. May long the hotel survive in it's present form.

Good location, but room was very dated with peeling walls. Bathroom had two windows and no curtains. Bed had probably the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. Breakfast was ok.
