About Admiral Hotel
The Admiral Hotel occupies a Victorian building on West Square in Scarborough, a modest and traditional property with only 8 rooms, which keeps things intimate rather than grand. Guests get straightforward, comfortable rooms, all en-suite, with family rooms available and air conditioning throughout. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, along with room service and luggage storage for those arriving or departing at odd hours.
Breakfast is served on-site, and facilities extend to a spa and sauna, meeting rooms, and a garden where guests can sit outside. The hotel also hosts weddings and offers concierge services and parking or transfer arrangements for those travelling by air. It's a practical base rather than a destination in itself, but it covers the essentials well.
Scarborough Castle and Peasholm Park are both within easy reach, and the surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists alike. Golf, fishing and watersports are all nearby for the more active, while pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues are close by for evenings out. It's a fair choice for those wanting a simple stay near the seafront without extra frills.

Came here with my friends for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner was really friendly and helpful with everything. The beds were nice and comfy and clean. The kitchen area was perfect. the location is perfect as well ( straight across from the train station and good walking distance for the fronts). I will definitely recommend staying here to my friends and I would book again when staying in Scarborough again without a doubt. Thankyou for an amazing stay!

A DIRTY disgusting hotel room. I paid £336 for two nights for the family room (room 6) for my mum & my 7 month old baby & I. This was beyond expensive. I had to climb 6 flights of stairs with the baby and all the luggage to a room which was VERY worn & grubby. The lady working there escorted us to the room and said “if you don’t stay both nights, leave the keys in the room and let me know” which tells a tale!!…The furniture was all odd & the paint was chipped. The carpets were dirty. The bedding felt unclean. The sink had stains. The wallpaper was bubbled and grubby. There was a layer of dust on the bedside table. The dirty nets were hanging 6 inches below the dirty crumpled curtains. I had to stay a night as there was no where else to stay with my baby. My mum and I were itching all night and In the morning We found a live beetle in my bed covers. We left after the first night. Despite trying to get hold of the owner via phone and in person, we were told through booking.com that the hotel would not give us any refund, even for the second night. I am absolutely appalled. This hotel is unhygienic and has tainted my views on Scarborough and booking.com for not checking the property or supporting me with getting a refund.

We didnt stay in this place,we just inquire for luggage services. The lady was rude and trying to ripped us out for a day storage of our bag 10quid f per bag, rushing us to decide, greedy. A little kindness wont hurt. Then telling us we might have covid?? You should have wear your mask before approaching us if you are really concern about yourself, Or because we are asian ,what a racist!

Our Children were told to be quiet and behave withing 15 minutes of arriving, we got questioned on what little marks were on the bed sheets wich I'm sorry can't be helped with 2 little children. My daughters dad had stripped his bed in the morning for it to be changed and he got a phone call half way through breakfast saying it was discusting he'd stripped his bed and did he have a condition as to why he sweated through the night. I think the owner really needs some lessons on how to talk to other adults with some respect and making people feel welcome. I think she should maybe make it so children can't stay. I wouldn't mind but the cleanliness was not up to scratch I had yellow stains on my curtains and things had not been dusted down properly yet we go spoken to like dirt for little marks on the sheets from out 3 and 5 year old children. Won't be staying again
