Bydand suits families and groups after space and privacy in the Scottish Borders. The cottage has three bedrooms (each with zip-and-link beds that convert between single and double configurations), one bathroom, and sleeps six. Everything happens on the ground floor, with access via a couple of steps to reach the entrance.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included—while the living room has a television, DVD player and radio for quieter moments. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are covered in the cost. One pet stays free. An enclosed garden with patio and furniture wraps around the property, and there's parking for three cars on site. No smoking indoors.
Walkerburn sits beside the River Tweed, with the village's play park just 150 metres away and a small shop and coffee spot nearby. Innerleithen (two miles) has more substantial facilities and restaurants; Peebles is eight miles further on. For activities, the area offers riverside walks, hill trails from your doorstep, and outdoor pursuits including downhill biking and adventure parks within four miles. Several historic gardens and houses lie within easy reach.
