Cloud Cottage

Duns Castle Nature Reserve and the woodland surrounding the castle are within walking distance of Cloud Cottage, making this detached house a convenient base for exploring the Scottish Borders. The town centre, with its shop, pub and restaurant, is equally close by. Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh—all towns with considerable historical interest—are a short drive away, as are the English attractions of Etal and Ford just over the border. Edinburgh lies 40 miles to the west.

The whole property is yours alone. Everything is on the ground floor: a living and dining room with a wood burner and television, a well-equipped kitchen leading to the rear garden, and two bedrooms served by a single bathroom with a shower over the bath. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other two singles. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the burner. There is private parking for one car and additional space on the road outside.

One well-behaved pet can stay free. No smoking is permitted indoors. Check-in is from 4pm, checkout by 10am.
