What visitors say
Took my child here for the first time today and I was extremely impressed by the facilities! He absolutely loved the play area for children and the amount of facilities to use seemed endless! There were 3 different play areas for him to explore with plenty to use and enjoy! The slides and climbing frames were particularly spectacular and he thoroughly enjoyed exploring!! The play areas are set in a stunning location with plenty of walks to be had (of which we didn’t do because I couldn't entice him away from the play area!). There's lots of space and woodland to walk your dogs as the parks are segregated away. Will definitely return. Bonus that they have toilet facilities, and plenty of parking spaces! The drive up to the parks is wonderful too!

Good range of walks that are not too difficult. Great little tea room and not bad price. We took our dog and really good paths. Overall excellent and with free parking.

Excellent area for kids to ride on the bikes, lots of dog walkers, and people in general enjoying the walk the place is huge. Lots of places to walk (the main railway line being one of the most tranquil walks) there's woods in the area with a long trail that you can walk which is lovely, and a really good park too with lots for the kids to play on, and seating areas for the adults. The cafe is in the old station house which closes at 3pm on a Saturday (not sure about the rest of the week) all in all a really nice place to visit, I've been here multiple times with the kids and they love it every time. Wild raspberry grows along the old train track trail, best picked in July/August, also some nice cherry trees that produce lovey cherries also best picked in July/August.
