We were so impressed with the Juniors Climbing Club instructor, Nick! He was patient, direct and really encouraging. Our daughter’s climbing improved in minutes and his belief in her made her try harder. She’s afraid of heights but she was reaching the top of the wall by 1/2 way through the session, learning the best practice and thinking for herself (something he encouraged her to do after he taught her a few tricks and tips). I would have never dreamed she’d learn so much in an hour & a half!

We Joined the foundry last autumn as my two teenage sons wanted to learn to climb. It's been fantastic. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. There's a good mix of top rope, lead, auto belays and bouldering and the routes are reset on a continuous rolling cycle so there's always something new to climb. We try to go twice per week and its always busy but there's always climbs free and the atmosphere is always happy, friendly and inspiring. I'm really glad that the foundry has maintained its club status and remained a friendly community rather than becoming an expensive, commercially driven center.

What a fantastic experience we had last week! Our instructors were fantastic, and gave us the confidence to climb high and go for challenging routes. All our members, plus lads from Penistone, Sheffield and Huddersfield table thoroughly enjoyed it. Topped off by an excellent partnership with a discount just for us at Neepsend Social Club & Canteen just up the road. 👌 Mike and Karl made booking the event a breeze. We turned up, everything was straight forward as described and we were climbing before we knew it. If you're looking to book a climbing group in Sheffield, look no further than The Foundry! 10/10

The Foundry was absolutely fantastic. We had a group of 14 with 2 instructors. It was great fun really easy to organise. If you are looking for a fun and easy group activity give them a call.
