🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Rosings

Rosings is a period cottage built from local stone in the village of Dungworth, close to Bradfield. The building sits between Sheffield's urban edge and the wilder landscape beyond, with views across open countryside from the rear garden. Two bedrooms and a bathroom fit on the first floor, while downstairs holds the living space, kitchen and a study. The double bedroom is 4ft 6in, the single 3ft, and the cottage sleeps three in total.

Downstairs flows as a single living area with a dining table and comfortable seating facing patio doors that open to the garden. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine—enough to self-cater properly rather than rely on takeaways. Essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a rear garden has furniture and a lawn; parking for two cars comes with a garage space that doubles as bike storage. One dog stays free of charge. The garden has three steps, and no smoking is permitted inside.

This works well for small groups wanting rural quiet within striking distance of Sheffield itself, or as a base for exploring the Peak District's walking and cycling routes. Syke House Farm Shop lies nearby for provisions and local food.
