Dating back to the 18th century, Loadbrook Cottages offers a rustic base at Load Brook on the edge of Sheffield. The building's age shows in the character of its rooms and communal areas, while the gardens and outdoor seating give guests a quiet spot to sit outside when the weather allows.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Stayed for a weekend in late January 2026 when visiting adult children. Lovely snug room, very comfy bed, excellent breakfast. Lovely warm and friendly welcome. Our grey whippet made very welcome. Will definitely revisit.

Thank you Alison & Rob for an amazing 4 night stay at Loadbrook Cottages B&B. The views were stunning all around us. Alison was the perfect host. Could find no fault whatsoever. It was just perfect for us. Definitely would recommend.

B&B at Loadbrook was superb. The accomodation is spacious, comfortable and attractive. I had the continental breakfast in my room which was delicious and generous. The views and setting are beautiful. Stunning walks on the doorstep, Sheffield city centre 20 minutes although you would never know it, and Chatsworth 30 minutes. Friendly, attentive hosts.

Wow! What a beautiful place, a charming and picturesque home within beautiful surroundings. You are made to feel as though you are staying with friends and not at a B & B. The hostess is very pleasant and nothing seems too much trouble. The cleanliness is second to none and the facilities and home comforts were superb. Breakfast is lovely, freshly cooked and such an array. Will definitely come back, thank you
