Flat Iron Shoreditch

This was our first experience at Flat Iron and we found it very nice. They do have a smaller menu than most places but they had just what we wanted (burger and steaks). The staff came over very quickly and explained the specials. All the food was lovely and we have visited again since this first visit in November. We were surprised by the popcorn and ice cream given to us upon entry and exit. It was very memorable! Thank you Flat Iron.

Visited the Flat Iron in Shoreditch with two friends and had a great experience. We turned up without a booking, and although they couldn't fit the three of us in straight away, the staff were really friendly and offered us a table 45 minutes later. We came back and were seated at a lovely round table, which made the meal feel relaxed and sociable. The service throughout was polite, welcoming and efficient. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with warm lighting, making it a really enjoyable place to eat. I had the Flat Iron steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The sides were delicious too, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I'd happily visit again and would definitely recommend it.

I booked a table for my mum’s birthday on Saturday. Overall, everything was good. The staff friendly, the food was served quickly, and there was a good selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. At the beginning, popcorn and water were provided at the table. At the end of the meal, we were given ice cream 🍦. There were no other dessert options available. However, they did take my birthday request into consideration. They brought us ice cream, and the waiter wished my mum a happy birthday, which was a nice touch. I’m not sure why, but the wine was served in regular glasses rather than wine glasses. Unfortunately, there were no proper wine glasses available.

Super juicy steak with a very addictive beef tallow flavour. This might be the juiciest steak ive had and its good enough to not need the sauce. Recommend to get the fries too. The fries are perfectly fried and that beef dripping makes it so fragrant and yummy. The creamed spinach was nice and the mac and cheese had a really good texture but if you cant eat so much, those 2 sides can be passed. The give free popcorn (but likely flavoured with beef fat) and free salted caramel icecream as well. Service was great.
