About Mondrian London Shoreditch
Shoreditch has long been one of East London's most creative corners, packed with independent restaurants, bars and easy transport links, and Mondrian London Shoreditch sits right in the middle of it on Curtain Road. The hotel brings a design-led edge to the neighbourhood, with modern rooms finished to a high standard and fitted with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and steam showers that guests consistently single out as a highlight.
Rooms come with the comforts expected of a city hotel geared towards both business and leisure stays, including room service, drinks in room and family and accessible options. On site there's a restaurant and bar, a gym, spa and sauna, plus meeting rooms and business services for those travelling with work in mind. Breakfast is served daily, and staff are generally praised for being friendly and welcoming, though service has occasionally been described as inconsistent.
Beyond the hotel doors, Shoreditch's restaurants, pubs and entertainment venues are all within easy reach, and tube stations nearby make it simple to explore the rest of London. Pets are welcome, and extras like concierge services, laundry and luggage storage cover the practical side of a stay in this part of the city.
What guests say
Great location. Nice rooms with good amenities and air conditioning is quiet and effective. Hidden grooves downstairs is a cool place to have cocktails and listen to music. One thing is negative- breakfast. It’s run by another company and the quality, service and offer is terrible. Do not book it. @Virgin - please find another provider to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Awesome hotel, with lovely rooms. Very friendly but professional team looked after us. Shame the rooftop pool wasn't always avaliable due to corporate hire. Should make this clearer in the facility description. It was all a bit confusing as the hotel staff said it was beyond thier control. Breakfast wasnt the best. When you consider the standard of the hotel, the Breakfast doesn't quite match the quality of thr hotel. Good service at the rooftop bar. Nice cocktails too.

I’ve been visiting London for years and recently decided to stay at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch during a trip to one of my favorite neighborhoods. I can confidently say I would absolutely stay here again. Although the lobby was quite busy when I arrived, the team checked me in quickly and even accommodated an early check-in, which I greatly appreciated after a long flight. The staff throughout my stay were warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. I was also pleasantly surprised by the welcome treats waiting for me upon arrival—a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the stay. The hotel itself is beautiful. I loved the design of both the lobby and the guest room. The decor feels stylish, vibrant, and full of personality, which fits Shoreditch perfectly. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt high quality. One of the biggest surprises—and highlights—was the steam shower in the room. After an international flight, it was exactly what I needed and felt like a true luxury. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire stay. I was also able to receive a complimentary late checkout, which made my departure day much more relaxed and enjoyable. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would simply be that the rooms are on the smaller side. However, that’s fairly common in London and didn’t take away from my overall experience. Overall, this hotel delivered excellent service, great design, thoughtful amenities, and a fantastic atmosphere. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and welcoming hotel in Shoreditch.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was amazing — especially the steam feature, which made it feel like a true luxury experience. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. When we unexpectedly found out that our flight had been canceled, the hotel was completely sold out and we were worried about what to do. The front of house manager, Gotham Vardar, kindly asked us to give him a few minutes, and shortly after called us back to let us know he had managed to arrange for us to keep our same room for another night — even honoring the same rate. That level of care and customer service truly went above and beyond and made a stressful situation so much easier. We also loved the rooftop restaurant — the food was outstanding and the service there was just as impressive. Overall, an exceptional experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely stay here again.
