What diners say
We had a wonderful dinner at Lagana, and it’s an ideal spot for a birthday or Valentine’s Day meal. The atmosphere is relaxed rather than stuffy, with a great buzz and friendly, attentive staff. The food was excellent , the lamb belly, tzatziki, spicy feta, and cheesecake are absolute must orders. The Lebanese wine was really nice. I was particularly impressed with how the staff handled a few rude customers who had clearly discovered the restaurant via TikTok and seemed more accustomed to places like NAC or Cipriani. They looked a little out of their depth - Mayfair is that way - but the team dealt with it professionally and gracefully. My only real criticism is the table layout. The tables are quite small and close together, and the restaurant feels slightly oversubscribed. I appreciate that it’s busy and popular, but if I’m spending around £200 on dinner, I don’t want to feel rushed. That said, the staff kindly invited us to finish our drinks at the bar, which softened the experience. Overall, a strong 10/10. This place genuinely deserves a star and, in my view, stands above similar restaurants like Agora.

Visited Lagana for dinner and had a fantastic experience. We shared a variety of dishes, including pita with tzatziki and spicy feta, olives, Greek salad, souvlakia, confit potatoes, grilled corn, and dry-aged picanha. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The picanha was the standout dish, cooked beautifully and full of flavor, while the dips with warm pita were a great way to start the meal. We also tried the desserts — the caramel cheesecake and orange pie — and both were delicious, providing the perfect ending to the evening. One of my favorite parts of the experience was the unique concept of drawing directly on the paper tablecloth while waiting for the food. It added a fun and interactive touch that made the meal even more enjoyable. Great food, lively atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience overall.

The cheesecake was amazing, the chicken thigh was simple but tasted great, the prawn and cheese flatbreads were both so well done and fresh. However, the Blue cocktail tasted mostly like prosecco with barely a hint of orange or elderflower which was disappointing and the potatoes were nothing special. But the atmosphere was incredible and the drawing on the table was a lovely touch. Also the service was great as they were attentive, patient and came around to ensure our water glasses were always full.

Absolutely loved our dinner here. The food was incredible!! Standouts for us were the spicy feta dip, tzatziki, Greek salad, lamb belly, yellowtail, chicken thigh, and of course the infamous caramel cheesecake, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The potatoes and aubergine were still nice, but didn’t quite stand out compared to the rest of the menu. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always checking in, clearing plates promptly, and keeping our water topped up. The atmosphere is super cosy, with little touches like candles and crayons that make it feel really personal. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back.

They also appreciate the lively and fun atmosphere, with crayons provided for drawing on the paper tablecloths. Guests mention the staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service.
