🚩Mediocre, tasteless, smallest overpriced food I’ve had in a while. £100 pp - one taco, one side, marg and tips. (We realised half way we all needed 2 or 3 more dishes each but we have tasted all on the menu and there was nothing we wanted to eat again. This would have been closer to £200 pp and really not worth that IMO) The place was mostly empty throughout the night. 7 tables filled out of 50 or so. Each item on the menu is about a couple of bites. Bland quesadillas/tostada/tacos. Sides are uninteresting - corn side dish was a tiny corn on the cob cut up into four - £10. The chorizo side - chorizo straight out of a packet, half a packet, barely heated and no grilled char in sight. £14 This is the closest I’ve been to wanting to send something back. There was some hibiscus drink which was horrible - like medicinal. Dessert was weird, even the chocolate one, how hard is to get that wrong!? They do Margaritas but not on the menu, price is unclear. Beautiful and everything was made with a lot of care, interesting sounding menu, staff is lovely but I do not recommend this place.

I’m in London and couldn’t pass up the chance to visit Zapote, what an incredible experience. Chef @yahir_marchand is doing something truly special here; every dish is beautifully crafted and full of flavor. Easily a 10/10. The floor staff were just as impressive—attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. Thank you for such a memorable meal.

The tuna & crab tostada was delicious and reasonably priced. The sweet potato was delicious but served cold and the empanada was very mid. Overall the restaurant was elegant and the atmosphere was great and intimate (for a date or a friends catch up) however the food was not on par with the atmosphere. It wasn’t bad but it was nothing to write home about. I would come back and only order tuna tostadas. Service was great (9/10) and our waiter was very polite. However we waited a while for our water, which was a bit annoying. Overall, 6.5/10
