Honeysuckle Cottage

Built in the 1850s, Honeysuckle Cottage is a semi-detached Victorian property on the outskirts of Minsterley with its own gardens and views across the surrounding countryside. The whole place is yours alone, sleeping four across three bedrooms: a king-sized double and two single rooms. There is one bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle.

Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining room has a wood-burning fireplace (fuel included), Freeview television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all the essentials. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; gas central heating keeps things warm. The front garden is lawned; the rear courtyard has garden furniture and a barbecue. Two cars can park on site.

A pub is within half a mile on foot, with another serving food at two miles. The location suits anyone wanting to walk, fish or ride locally, or to explore further afield: Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Ludlow, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth are all a short drive away, as is the Wales border. Note that there is a pond in the front garden. No smoking indoors. One dog travels free.
