Orchard View

Orchard View is a detached cottage on the owners' two-acre grounds near Asterley in Shropshire. Everything is on the ground floor: a living room with smart TV and Netflix, separate dining room, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and breakfast area. There's a utility room with washing machine, two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two single pull-out beds), and a shower room. A travel cot and highchair are available. Oil central heating runs throughout, including underfloor heating in the garden and dining room.

The cottage sits within reach of the Shropshire Hills, with countryside visible from the garden. One dog can stay free, though it must remain on a lead due to the sheep farming in the area. The property has its own patio with garden furniture, bike storage, and parking for two cars on site. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking is permitted inside.

The location suits walkers and those wanting quiet: the Long Mynd and nearby hills like Pontesford and Earls Hill offer ridge walks with panoramic views. Shrewsbury is eleven miles away. Families with younger children will find the ground-floor layout practical, and the private grounds give space to move around.
