About Hempstead House Hotel
Hempstead House Hotel works well for travellers who want a bit of everything on one site: a spa afternoon, a proper sit-down meal, and easy road access to explore Kent. Set on London Road in Bapchild, just outside Sittingbourne, it has free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point, making it a straightforward stop for anyone touring the Kent Downs or heading towards Leeds Castle.
The 34 rooms come with drinks provided, and guests have use of an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna alongside free WiFi throughout. There's a restaurant, bar and snack bar for meals at any pace, plus breakfast to start the day, and a garden for those who want to step outside. The hotel also operates as a wedding venue and offers business services, concierge support, laundry service and luggage storage, so it suits couples celebrating an occasion as much as those travelling for work.
Beyond the grounds, Sittingbourne and the wider Kent countryside are within reach for day trips, with Leeds Castle and the Kent Downs both nearby. It's a hotel built around convenience and facilities rather than a particular view or location, which suits guests who want everything on site rather than a scenic backdrop.
