The Pool House sits in countryside close to Sittingbourne, within reach of Whitstable's seafront and Canterbury's cathedral. The house was renovated in 2023 and comes with its own enclosed garden and a 30ft by 15ft outdoor swimming pool, open from April through October. It's a full property to yourself, sleeping up to eight across three bedrooms—a double with ensuite wet room on the ground floor, a super kingsize with single bed and ensuite on the ground floor, and a third double with single bed on the first floor. There's also a living room with two sofa beds if extra sleeping space helps.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances—and opens to a dining area. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue overlooks the pool. Parking is available for two cars on the property, with more space on the road. The setting works well for family groups or friends looking for a break centred around swimming and exploring the Kent coast and countryside. No smoking is permitted. Travel cots and highchairs are available if you ask when booking.

As a group of 5 adults and two kids this place was perfect for us especially being able to use the pool. The property itself was nice however needs a little TLC. The bedroom decor was different and beautiful throughout the house with the upstairs bedroom warmer compared to the rest of the bedrooms. The location was amazing as there’s a shopping centre within few minutes drive and a co op at the end of the road to grab essentials. A massive thank you to the host Cherie for being amazing and answering all my questions before the trip. Would definitely book again but for longer as a weekend was not enough!

We had a wonderful stay at The Pool House during our wedding weekend! The pool was gorgeous and the house fit us all perfectly. Highly recommend!

Worst holiday destination ever. Booked it for 2 nights for 31st night. The pool was dirty and water disgusting. Hand shower was not working and there were no hot water in the toilet. The room heaters were not working properly. Our vacation was ruined because of these things. Please consider these things before booking. Big thumbs down.

We stayed here for two nights on 28th June for a Hen Party and had a fab time. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The weather was fab so we made full use of the pool. The hosts were very accommodating and answered any questions prior to arrival and were very clear with directions and other information that they felt would be useful to us.
