Marigold

Marigold is a converted barn combining exposed beams and contemporary finishes with a country setting on a private 25-acre estate near Shepton Mallet. The whole property is yours alone: two bedrooms (one with a king bed and ensuite, one with two singles), two bathrooms, and open-plan living space with a kitchen that has everything needed for self-catering, from dishwasher to induction hob. Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are included.

The barn opens onto a decked garden with patio and seating, and the wider grounds offer space to explore or simply sit out. Footpaths and trails start from the doorstep, making it straightforward for walkers and cyclists to reach the Mendip Hills and surrounding countryside. Parking is available on site for multiple cars, and an electric charging point can be arranged in advance. The property is two miles from Shepton Mallet and five miles from Wells, so town amenities are within easy reach despite the rural peace.

No smoking is permitted. The barn can accommodate families and groups of friends; it forms part of a small estate complex and may be booked alongside a neighbouring property for larger gatherings if needed.
