Mulberry Cottage

Mulberry Cottage is a traditional stone farmhouse on an 85-acre working farm near Glastonbury. It has four bedrooms—three with king beds and one with two singles—plus two bathrooms, one of them ensuite to the top-floor bedroom. The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room with washing machine, and a games room with a Playstation 3. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; logs for the burner are provided too.

An enclosed lawned garden with patio furniture and a barbecue opens from the house, with space for bikes. There is parking for four cars on site. The cottage suits families or groups wanting to spread out—travel cots and highchairs are available if needed. Glastonbury Abbey, Chalice Well and the market town itself are nearby; further afield lie Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral and Bath within an hour's drive. The Somerset countryside around the farm offers walking, cycling and riding. A pub is within walking distance for evening meals.
