Walnut Lodge

Glastonbury and Wells sit within easy reach of each other in central Somerset, both worth a day trip. Glastonbury draws visitors to its medieval Tor and eclectic independent shops; Wells offers its cathedral, markets, and mix of cafés and restaurants. Walnut Lodge sits in a quiet position between them, a custom-built single-storey property finished in 2022.

The lodge is yours alone, sleeping two in a kingsize bed. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan kitchen and living area with French doors onto a covered veranda, a shower room, and a bedroom. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. There is no television. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with a welcome pack. One car can park on site. No smoking indoors.

The real draw is outdoors. Beyond the veranda's bistro furniture lies a lawned garden with seating and a firepit, positioned to make the most of views across the landscape and night skies. This is where you will spend your evenings if the weather allows.
