The Barn

The Barn sits within a working cider farm in south Somerset, surrounded by open countryside with footpaths leading directly to walks and country pubs. This converted barn is yours alone, with parking on site and an enclosed patio garden where a private hot tub awaits. The ground floor holds the main living space—open-plan with kitchen, dining and seating areas—plus a kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower and a twin bedroom. Upstairs, two more bedrooms offer a single bed in a galleried space and a double, with a family bathroom on the landing.

The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. A barbecue sits ready in the garden. The property does not permit smoking, and there is a stream within the grounds and a pond further away. A shop, pub and restaurant are roughly a mile away.

The wider area offers serious attractions: Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole to the north, Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Tor within driving distance, plus museums at Yeovilton and Haynes, and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Exmoor National Park and local golf are also accessible. Two other converted barns on the site (The Old Mill and The Granary) can be booked separately or together if you need more space.
