The Chaff House

The Chaff House comes ready for arrival. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, so there is nothing to arrange beyond your own food. The studio is arranged over one floor with an open-plan living and kitchen area, a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room with heated towel rail. The kitchen has a hob, electric oven, microwave and breakfast bar. A wood burner sits in the living space alongside a freeview television.

Outside, a garden with seating and furniture faces out over farmland, giving a genuine sense of being away from things. Parking for one car is on site. One dog stays free. The property does not permit smoking. There are 14 steps to the entrance and a further 14 in the garden itself.

Wells, the smallest city in England, lies a mile away. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor and Stourhead Gardens are all within easy driving distance, as are the shops at Street's Clarks Village. Bath is further but still reachable. Local golf and horse riding are available.
