The Willow Lodge

The Willow Lodge is a bungalow built on a single level, making it straightforward to navigate without stairs. Everything—kitchen, dining, living space and bedroom accommodation—sits on the ground floor, with a wet room rather than a traditional bathroom. The property stands within a holiday resort in rural Somerset, a few miles from Yeovil and close to the Somerset Levels.

Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a kingsize bed, the other with two singles. The main living area opens onto a patio, and beyond that are shared gardens with a gazebo and children's play area. The kitchen comes equipped to cook proper meals, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave all there. Parking for one car is on site, and an electric charging point is available if needed. Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The property does not permit smoking.

This is a good fit for families with younger children, or for anyone who needs or prefers ground-floor living. There is fishing available on the resort itself (subject to holding a rod licence), and a bike store for exploring the quieter lanes around the property. Yeovil's shops and facilities are within easy driving distance.
