Violet Cottage

Violet Cottage is a three-bedroom property on the Lakeview resort in rural Somerset, close to Huntworth and the Somerset Levels. A private fishing lake sits on the grounds (rod licence required), and the gentle canal network is within walking distance. Sandy beaches are an easy drive away for families wanting a day out. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a kingsize with French doors to a Juliet balcony and ensuite bathroom, a double, and two singles, plus a second bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room opens onto a patio, and the kitchen/dining space has what you need to cook properly.

The essentials are covered—bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating included. There is garden space with a gazebo (shared with other properties on site), a children's play area, and a patio with picnic bench. One car can park on site; there is also an electric vehicle charging point. The property is non-smoking. Cots and highchairs can be arranged for an additional fee per booking.
