Ground-floor living means no stairs to navigate: the main space combines sitting room and kitchen-diner, with a conservatory beyond. Two bedrooms accommodate up to six guests—one with a king bed and ensuite shower, the other with zip-and-link singles—plus a family bathroom with a roll-top tub.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, from oven and hob to dishwasher and fridge-freezer. An enclosed garden with patio and barbecue faces the grounds, while a bike store and parking for four cars sit on-site. Underfloor heating keeps things warm. One dog stays free. The cottage sits near Girvan, a small seaside resort where summer visitors can take trips aboard the Waverley paddle steamer. Wifi and all essentials—bed linen, towels, electricity—are covered.
