Chillington village sits between Kingsbridge and Slapton Sands, with the South Hams' rolling countryside and coastline on either side. The post office and shop are within the village, along with a pub and playing field. Meadow Mews is a converted stone barn that accommodates twelve guests across six bedrooms: three kingsize doubles, two pairs of singles, and one further kingsize. Five bathrooms serve the property—four are ensuite to the upstairs bedrooms, and a fifth with bath and shower serves the ground floor.
Downstairs holds the main living spaces. The living room has a smart TV and doors opening onto a patio. The kitchen and dining room run together, equipped for proper cooking and washing up. Three kingsize bedrooms and two twin bedrooms occupy the first floor, each with ensuite shower and toilet. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed. The enclosed garden has seating and a barbecue; beyond it lies a two-acre shared meadow with a small stream running along one boundary. Parking is ample. Smoking is not permitted.
The South Hams is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; Slapton Sands, two miles of pebble beach with a freshwater lagoon and nature reserve inland, is nearby. Walking, cycling, water sports and golf are all well established locally.
