The Barn

This converted barn at Cold Harbour stands on the edge of open countryside, with all its living spaces arranged on the ground floor. One bedroom contains a double bed, the sitting room has a wood-burning stove and sofa bed suitable for children, and there is a sun room with views across the fields. A fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washer dryer, so you can cook and manage laundry without leaving the property.

The barn comes with its own enclosed garden and sitting area, where one dog stays free of charge. A dog wash station means muddy paws needn't be a problem. Parking for two cars is on site. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered, and there is a welcome pack on arrival. No smoking is permitted inside.

Grantham is nearby, but the immediate appeal is the countryside itself: a footpath leads directly into the fields from the garden, and numerous walking and cycling routes branch out from the village. The local pub, a short walk away, serves food and real ales. For days out, Stamford, Lincoln and Newark with their historic houses and museums are within reasonable driving distance.
