I had an excellent stay at the Beechwood Guest House over the Easter weekend. I was met with a warm welcome from Rez, who is a great host, and shown to a comfortable well-appointed room. There are a few great touches like proper blackout blinds, Alexa bedside clock, extra comfy bedding, solid WiFi, stationery at the desk and shampoo and shower gel provided - and the whole place is sparkling clean. I opted for a cooked breakfast which was very nicely prepared. The Beechwood is only a short walk from both the town centre and Sandhaven beach with plenty of food and drink options nearby. I had a delightful visit, thank you.

A brilliant stay at Beechwood Guest House. The host, Rez, is incredibly helpful and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the start. The rooms are exceptionally clean, well looked after, and come equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The location on Ocean Road couldn't be better for accessing local restaurants and the seafront. It was the perfect, quiet base for my time in South Shields. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Lovely place, Raz hosted us so well. He couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed on the top floor room, very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, 5 min walk to South Marine Park, 10-15 min to the beach. Would definitely stay again.
