The Saddlers Cottage
South Tyneside
The Saddlers Cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage sleeping four in the village of East Boldon, South Tyneside. The ground floor contains a living room with smart TV and electric fire, plus a kitchen-diner fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other with zip-and-link single beds that can be pushed together. A bathroom with bath and shower serves both floors. The cottage has its own enclosed garden with sitting area and furniture, a genuinely private spot for relaxing outdoors.
Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog stays free, and the cottage provides travel cot, highchair and stairgate if needed. East Boldon itself is a small, established village with an award-winning butcher, post office, and a good selection of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The beach at Seaburn is a short drive away; South Shields, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth are also nearby. Roker has a traditional park with a lake, play areas and a miniature railway. A local metro station gives access to the coast and into town. Sunderland's illuminations run from September to November each year if you're visiting then. No smoking inside.
