Cheerful, calm, super-efficient staff in the dining room who are attentive but not intrusive and efficient without ever rushing you. Thank you Jasmine and Lucas for looking after me! Impressed with the variety and quality of the food and the wine! Room was comfy and clean, location suited me well for late arrival/early departure and both train station and air terminal less than three minutes walk from hotel. Nice park just down the road for a morning run too.

Despite completing check-in on line & obtaining QR code, obtaining a room key took ten minutes. The first self check-in screen was non responsive, the second machine would not recognise the QR code, the third machine did not recognise the QR code but issued a key through the booking number. Room was clean & of good standard. Flush on toilet system was extremely poor. Appears to be a known problem as when I reported maintenance may be required the staff member knowingly said ‘toilet’? Took evening meal in restaurant. Quality of food was appalling. The battered fish was of very poor standard, batter covered in burnt battered pieces & most definitely not worth the excessive price paid. Did not raise a complaint as the restaurant was clearly short staffed but trying to do their best on a busy service night. It was obvious our server, Jason, was stressed & overworked but he remained professional & attentive throughout. Just appreciative that we didn’t book breakfast.

Recently me and my family stayed at this Premier inn and when I walked in I knew I was here for a good night’s rest. We first went into the restaurant to have some drinks and food. Our waiter Jason delivered our food with care. We settled down to a gorgeous meal made with love!❤️ The next day we had our breakfast, they prepared the buffet with generosity as people will be coming down the following hour to try the sizzling sausages, terrific tea and loads more. The rooms were incredible with plenty off space, the beds were soft and comfy I felt like I was in a cloud. I had a deserved well nights rest. A big shoutout to all the staff who helped us with our stay, forever grateful for you guys. A big recommendation to stay here if you come to Southampton!

Jason was excellent 👌 When I arrived he was on the check out kiosk it was an extremely hot day and the technology was clearly have a meltdown also. He remained calm and friendly and did the best he could do to get through the queue quickly. He was also in the restaurant in the evening..still smiling and made my experience pleasurable. He is a credit to your team!
