Very cheap, which is good, and easy to get to the centre of town, but beds very uncomfortable and towels not clean, lots of stains on bedsheets and lots of flies around. Locks work but are very wobbly. Breakfast is ok, but there were 5 of us across 3 rooms and there was only 3 people's worth of food prepared for us and we were unable to get 5 breakfasts two people thought breakfast was great, one thought it was horrible, although that could be down to personal preference. Showers are clean but water pressure is non existent. Only stay here if it's short-term and you can't find anywhere else

Rustic old style room-only accommodation. Most rooms share a couple of toilets and separate shower rooms. Very clean, comfortable beds. In room kettle, with tea, coffee, UHT milk and sugar provided. Communal fridge on landing. Plenty of drawers, and some hanging space. Friendly owners if you need anything.

Kind and friendly staff. Only stayed for two nights so the place was adequate as I didn’t really need to use any facilities other than a place to sleep. Great location (couple minutes away from shops) and free parking (on site and first come first served). Fob for the front door and a key to the room. Lots of information/panthlets on local attractions and activities to do. Kettle, microwave and fridge in the room as well as uht milk pots/coffee/tea/sugar. Facilities are not the best (damaged furniture, not the best bathroom and had an insect roach trap hidden in the room, noisy buzzing fridge). I did get the cheapest room for two people so can’t expect that much but probably wouldn’t stay again if it was a longer stay as the fridge would make me crazy. Might be worth paying more if the more expensive rooms have better facilities.

My parents and I came to Southampton for my graduation, and stayed here for a night. Extremely pleasant staff, very friendly and helpful. Offered me free laundry services as well. Rooms are very clean, really one of the best options to stay in Southampton.
