If you want to be insanely confused my pricing systems, snarled at by teenagers who are fighting their inner demons and teenage angst then Adventure Coast is the place for you. So starting with the quite frankly insane pricing system. Each person needs a £2 plastic card, so for our 3 children we had already spent £6 and not one bit of fun was had, they have some great deals I.e £40 top up receives 60 tokens! (This felt like a great deal as each child would receive 20 tokens) However you cant split there over the 3 cards you've already purchased - so we couldn't do this deal; so now we top up 3 cards with £20 and start our "day of fun" the rides were okay but for our youngsters they couldn't ride unaccompanied so they wanted us to then go and buy another £2 top up card and add a minimum of £5 🤣! Also you best be good at maths as you need to keep a mental account or how much each person has on there card. (Ours went on different priced rides separately) There is no where to scan to see what is left and the angry teens can't help with their scanning machines. Also one ride was 5.5 which was the only 0.5 ride I seen, so unless you ride this twice you will be losing out. The food looked like it was mirroring the mood of the staff and the run down nature of the rides. The fun house looked like it was made from the wood and washed up water from the beech. Toilets were okay, there is a 'free' park but its not very big. All in all it cost be £70+ for an hours of fun. I'd avoid.

Went for Save the Rave Venue and event was good overall, however the setup for drinks was poor. Had to queue for a very long time when just wanting water, other events have this seperate I also believe some bars ran out of beer early on but still let people queue VIP was actually good for the very little extra cost. Nice elevated position to sit back and watch from. Not many seemed to have bought VIP so the bench seats were available. However early on the security were letting anybody into it.

Could be so much better and has so much potential. Staff to be fair are very friendly and seem to be really trying their best, but this park feels really poorly thought out. Although the park is now back to free entry and a pay for ride system, each person must now purchase a ride card (£2 each) and then top up your card to pay for rides. The price system is confusing and there is only one place you can buy credit for the rides in the park (which is not signposted around the park). There is nowhere to tap the cards and see your credit balance which means you quickly lose count of how much credit you have (none of the rides seem to have signs to say how much they cost, again only displayed at the central building where you buy your cards). On 2 x ocassions we topped up the cards and were told by ride operators the amount on the card did not correlate to what we had paid. With no way to check your card balance after paying, it feels like this is a complete con as it happened twice to us. As for the rides, everything feels a bit unloved, weird themeing (random buildings), no signposting, and if im honest it doesnt feel the safest at times. There are rides located in the middle of paths that have no fencing around them, which is a hazard when children are running around near rides which are in motion. Opposite to the caterpillar childrens rollercoaster there are picnic benches right next to an open pond with no fencing which is risky for young children with no warning signs etc. There are lots of food outlets but they all seem to offer exactly the same things (typical funfair food) and all seemed empty. This could be so much better.

There was one good ride for adults, video enclosed and one with all the promise a bit of a let down. It’s great for the family and there is plenty to keep them entertained ☺️ you get a ticket card which you can top up that you get to keep with a bright lanyard so you don’t lose it 👍 Nicely situated by king’s gardens so when it gets a bit noisy you can retreat to a quieter spot 👍
