About Premier Inn London Southwark Bankside
Premier Inn London Southwark Bankside is a compact, purpose-built hotel spread across three floors, holding 59 rooms designed for practical, no-fuss stays rather than grand architecture or period charm. Its Bankside address puts it firmly in one of London's most walkable riverside districts, close to the attractions and transport links that make Southwark a popular base for visitors.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and the option of drinks in room, with accessible rooms also available. A lift serves all floors, and reception operates around the clock, useful for guests arriving late or heading out early. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant and bar within the hotel itself for those who'd rather not venture out in the evening.
Beyond the hotel, Southwark offers plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with entertainment options within easy walking distance. On-site parking is available for a charge, a handy option for guests arriving by car in an area where street parking is limited. It's a straightforward, well-located choice for exploring London without the frills of a boutique stay.
Guests mention this hotel has a superb location near Borough Market and the Thames, offering clean, comfortable rooms with cozy beds. They also highlight the excellent breakfast with a great selection and the friendly, helpful staff.
Some reviews mention the Wi-Fi can be unreliable.
