What diners say
This was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had, especially when spending $190. And that is very unfortunate because I enjoyed the food (for the few minutes they allowed me to eat it). We arrived at 9:25. When walking in, we specifically asked if they were still taking walk in customers since we knew that they list their closing time as 10pm. The man at the door insisted it was OK and sat our party of 2. We figured this was fine, especially since they take reservations on their website up until 9:45pn. Turns out, this was NOT ok and 10pm closing means they will force you to leave at 10 sharp. I have no idea what they would do to someone who booked a 9:45 reservation.. After sitting down we ordered drinks and the man who sat us came to ask if he could take our order soon because the kitchen needs to close. We placed an order for two appetizers, which came out practically immediately. He then asked if he could take our orders again, so we placed an order for a few dishes. We were sharing small dishes. By now it was around 9:45. We received the food about 10 minutes later. At 10pm sharp, the wait staff started stacking chairs, cleaning tables, cleaning the floor, etc, while numerous parties were still dining. We asked for a diet coke and were told we couldn't get it because the kitchen was closed. Around 10:05 while we were still finishing our food (which we had only had for about 10 minutes), the waitress came to our table and simply said "one bill or two?" with the payment device and and asked for payment right then. I've dined at probably over 150 restaurants and have never experienced someone doing that. It was incredibly rude. If you want to close at 10pm sharp, I completely understand that and it is totally fine. However, you absolutely SHOULD NOT seat new customers if there is not enough time for them to eat their meal before you force them out. Horrible experience.

This place is a real find! Delicious food, absolutely packed with flavours, at very reasonable prices. Very warm and welcoming service too. We had the fungus sallad and the aubergine sallad as starters and we shared the seafood fried rice as main. Sooooo good!!! We also could not resist a desert, the fried rice cake was yummy! The restaurant is also very beautifully decorated and made us think of turn of the century Shanghai (which was probably not the intention…). Anyway, I truly recommend this rest and we will be back for more very soon!

Visited Noodle & Bar in Spitalfields and had a really enjoyable meal. We started with a selection of starters including beef jerky, spring rolls, fresh spring rolls, and a chicken dish. These were definitely the highlight, full of flavour and really well done. For mains, we all had the beef soup. It was rich, thick, and had a really strong beef flavour which was lovely. The spice was interesting, more of a numbing, tingling sensation rather than a hot, fiery spice, which made it quite unique. While the soup wasn’t quite as standout as the starters, we still really enjoyed it overall. Friendly atmosphere and a great place to try something a bit different. Would happily come back!

We had a wonderful experience at Noodle and Beer! Special thanks to Monica for the amazing service — she was very friendly and attentive. We ordered rice and noodles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The interior is beautiful, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place! P.S. The food was so delicious that we didn’t even have time to take photos before finishing everything!😁
