We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, beautiful decorated, spacious and comfortable, and the location was only around 5 minutes from St. Ives station which was perfect. It is also very close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for a pleasant and convenient visit. Their breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I was warmly greeted upon arrival-- sopping wet with luggage in tow having walked the wrong way up the hill in heavy rains-- I felt like I was in a home not a hotel. Tracy kindly offered to make up my room next so I could come back in an hour and check in early. The beds are very comfy, the carpeted floors and stairs promote peace and quiet, the decor is charming, and the breakfast included is delicious and has healthy choices. My room was in the back and I still had a distant glimpse of the sea. Location is superb... near the bustle of the town but in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. I hope to return again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Rivendell. Owners were friendly. Had a fantastic breakfast every morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable and great views. Guest House was in an ideal location and within walking distance to the harbour, shops, bars and restaurants.

Tracy was a lovely host. She was very welcoming and was able to give me all the info I needed about the area. She also was an absolute star and saved my bacon as I hadn't been able to print out my best man speech and she kindly did so for me even though that's not part of the usual service. The breakfast was also delicious and the highlight for me was the incredible view of St Ives harbour from my room! What an amazing sight to wake up to every morning. Highly recommend!
