Play at Brewers Fayre

We arrived at 8:20pm, we were seated at a table given menus & served drinks! When we tried to order food a few minutes later we were told the kitchen was closed! A little bit of customer service to say the kitchen was closing would have been nice, especially as we were given menus but no nothing! I have to say the staff at McDonalds across from the pub were much more cheerful & helpful.

Came here a couple of weeks ago, thought I had put a review on but alas I was wrong! Was a nice place to come and get a drink and something to eat, very close to the Holiday Inn which was expensive. Nice clean facilities with attentive staff Would use it again if we are ever back in the area. Nice wine and food

I have visited here multiple times attending parties with my children and evertime ive been there has always been some kind of issue that has arose. Before it was a table I had reserved wasn't suitable for the size of my party although I had specified on the booking ,another occasion a booking was double booked ....how i don't know! This time my son had been given a free child's play voucher from a party he attended at the catch corner a couple of weeks previously and ofcourse I went to use it in the school holidays keep the kids happy for an hour. However the lady behind the bar/desk said that the voucher had no date written on the back , which should have been done by her staff when he recieved it. I then explained that he received it from catch corner she then wanted me to resight the date ,time name of the party was booked under from a couple of weeks previously!!! Needless to say ive slept since and couldn't recall. The staff here have always been difficult and talk very short and sharp with there manner! I think they probably need to be reminded that they are front lines of there industry and should perhaps act so!

This place was lovely. Accommodating children of all ages Nice atmosphere Reasonable prices Friendly staff Would dine here again Thank you. ... Next visit, we were happy, took Mother-in-law & we had a roast, hubby had mixed grill, very good size I couldn't finish! Will be going back. Thank you.
