First time trying Bangladeshi food and loved it. The Fusca was crispy with flavourful chotpoti and a refreshing tamarind kick. Rohu Fish Fry was really well executed —crispy skin, tender fish, though slightly oily. Bhuna Khechuri was my favourite — rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The beef was so soft and tender, which made it more satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, and the owner shared that most dishes are made to order. They even offered us tea, which was such a lovely touch. No service charge too. Great food and warm hospitality—will definitely be back with friends.

We were supposed to go to another restaurant but came here by mistake, so we just stayed. The staff were very welcoming and they had a lovely inviting vibe, comfortably busy inside with locals and non Bangladeshis - locals are always a good sign of good food. I chose the bhortas and the murugh biryani with kalizeera rice - best Bengali biryani yet! The bhortas were good too, but the starters were the best! The best Bengali fuchka I’ve had yet, and the luchhi with beef chapli/ steak was ever so soft and delicious, this dish was a revelation to me as a Sylheti myself! My sister’s beef biryani had the softest meat I’ve had in a long time in a restaurant, we all loved our dishes and good portions - well I shared with my mum, we all shared our dishes. Love the size of the place, sink washing area outside of the toilets for after eating - genius! Just missing hot water - not good after eating such greasy food - needs amending! Otherwise go go go! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Rupchada (fried fish) was perfect! It includes two whole fish (yes the head and bones) and was simply delicious. The milk tea was a wonderful addition at the end of the meal. My son had the chicken tikka masala. he said is was very coconutty and sweet, which if you like that is good, but could be overdone if you don’t. The chicken was incredible, and I don’t think anyone wouldn’t like it.

The food and hospitality were excellent. It’s a family-friendly place, and you can order less spicy food for kids. I had never seen such a large piece of Rohu fish before. The prices were very reasonable and offered great value for money.
