Lochview Barn

Lochview Barn suits couples or small families wanting a quiet base by water. The cottage is built on one level, with an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and lounge areas, plus two bedrooms (one double, one single) and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Everything needed for self-catering is provided, along with bed linen and towels; electricity is included in the price.

The property has its own patio garden and parking for at least one car on site. What sets it apart is the setting: the cottage looks out over Loch Lubnaig, and a three-acre meadow across the road gives direct access to the loch shore. This is useful if you want to fish (a permit is needed), launch a canoe or kayak, or simply sit by the water. Strathyre village is about two miles away and has a shop, post office and places to eat and drink, with a pub within a mile. No smoking indoors.
